On July 4, the time had finally come: we left for Senegal! We agreed at Zaventem airport, where we would leave our Belgian country around 12 noon. Here we also met Magda, the manager of Bagaya-Kapelle. This is an organization that has been working with Bagaya for over 30 years, so Magda would make a good travel guide! Check-in went smoothly, as did the flight. Upon arrival in Dakar, our passports, fingerprints and irises were thoroughly checked. We turned out to be no danger to the country and were therefore allowed to continue 😉 .
