OUR FIRST WEEKS
Banange! What a beautiful country we arrived in. After a very long trip we landed in Uganda and were greeted by friendly and hospitable people. We met the team and started working on the project. Meetings were scheduled with companies we wanted to learn from, but also the contact with locals was important for us. We wanted to hear their opinions, ideas, pains … so market visits and conversations gave us a lot of information. This gave us the ability to start with a detailed plan on how to create an optimal and effective solution in the tomato supply chain. The remaining goal is to create a replicable solution, that benefits the greatest amount of players. We also met the Akaboxi team from AFD Gent and shared some amazing moments :)).
