Green poultry farm

To deal with Mozambique’s poultry waste problem and provide a sustainable source of biogas and fertilizer, Green Poultry Farm was conceived and has been developing anaerobic digesters since 2022. They are collaborating with local poultry farmers to educate and guide them in a journey towards a sustainable future.

This year, our team of four students will try to assist Green Poultry Farm in reaching their goal. We will do this by designing and constructing a fixed digester with a built-in sensor and data processing system, as well as an interactive interface to simplify the process for the farmers. This prototype would be the next step towards green poultry farming in Mozambique.
